Rural South Following a recent theft of copper cable in the Ashby Folville/Twyford area of the beat, I was pleased to attend the Ashby Folville coffee morning today. This gave me an opportunity to speak to a large number of local residents about the theft and any other policing issues important to them. I was able to reassure residents that everything was being done to prevent any further thefts and gather information relevant to the incident.
The coffee morning takes place every Saturday morning at the Ashby Folville village hall and is a lovely way for the local community to meet together in a friendly atmosphere. The beat team will be popping in whenever possible in the future.
